Hello folks, after an overwhelming response on my second attempt at the very interesting ‘Six Words Stories challenge’ for the theme: ‘Murder – Reduced to ashes, here’s another bold attempt. This time the theme is ‘Prejudice‘ and I have written on a topic that impacts me terribly; for I do not understand why people have to be so – racist! Sometimes, I try and and think of reasons why people treat fellow human beings in such a degrading manner; and to be honest I am at a loss of words each time, every time.

Another thing that I have never been able to understand is the desire to marry a ‘fair’ (in terms of colour) spouse, even if the person himself/ herself is wheatish or dark. I hope someday the world reaches a point where such prejudices don’t matter.

He was coloured, yet shunned colour!
