In a faraway land where she lived…

“Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it inflames the great.” ~ Roger de Bussy-Rabutin

She lived in a faraway land; beyond the five oceans…
Where the sun was brooding, on the verge of shining bright,
He thought of her alluring silhouette, on her golden canopy..
And she stirred; she stirred in her sleep, and smiled..

She smiled because she felt his presence,
The mere feeling of his presence stirred her soul,
Her soul rejoiced; and despite the deep slumber she was in…
It nudged the contours of her lips…which gave way to her precious smile!
